Hello boys 'n' girls :)
I'm after dragging my company into the 20th century, the 21st may be a bit of a big ask...
We have some cheap ISP, with around 15 email accounts set up, my ultimate aim here is to move them to a more reliable and UK based ISP. However, after installing a server with Wingate, I am now exploring the possiblities of an email server, Sure, I have the exchange licences & CALs and can go that route albeit a but heavy!
As I say, around 15 users, but I need this to expand to 40 of which 15 or so would be clients hard wired to the server, but the rest are field based, with laptops and severely limited IT skills, so configuring POP/IMAP/SMTP settings are out of the question here, for all except a couple. One such user has around 15,000 (yes 15k) emails in her account so you can see what I'm up against!
Instead of a knee-jerk reaction to go to Exchange, I'll throw it open to you guys. Thoughts? Could Wingate help here??
