Wingate uninstall doesn't work (again)

Hi, I've installed the gatekeeper (Wingate Management) on one of my systems. I'm not enable to uninstall it. The uninstall process hangs forever with some CPU usage. There are no registry entries, the wingate network driver isn't installed. So why does this simple task not work? Please advice...

Hi

does the uninstaller give any indication of what it is doing at this point? Normally the stage of the uninstallation is reported on the main uninstall window.

I wonder if it thinks it is trying to do something like stop the WinGate service, or kill some applications. Did you make sure there are no instances of gatekeeper.exe running?
