Network connection

In Wingate > Control Panel > Network connections :
-for NIC that connect to cable modem what is correct setting? "Auto Detect" (will detect as internal) OR manual set to "An external untrusted network"?

HI

the correct setting depends on how you want it to function. Many people behind a DSL/NAT will set the interface to internal.

The difference it makes is to do with whether services will bind by default and firewall will block by default or not.
