Help: Wingate 4.5.2 goes down

Postby prodriguezzz » Sep 23 03 11:39 am

Dear friends:

I got a big problem with Wingate 4.5.2
The server and workstations (all Win98) works fine, but after 2 or 3 hours, the stations loose the connection and the server stops responding.
I reinstall the server in another machine, but it´s justs the same: suddenly the server freezes.
I've tried clear history, cache, logs, reindex, everything you reccomends.
I send you the results of wgdbg.log file for your information or analysis.

I would strongly recommend an upgrade to WinGate 5.0.7. It fixed numerous lockups like the ones you are indicating below, and furthermore it is a free upgrade - you simply won't get the benefits of the built-in mail server unless you upgrade your key but everything else will still work
