HTTP Cache rules - Blacklisting Mime types?

Postby Talicada » Jul 04 15 12:05 am

To the extent that I am thinking about, I am not sure if this feature is implemented (So possible Feature Request?). However, I know that you can white list specific mime types, or just cache all mime types, but how about if you choose to cache all mime types, you are then given the ability to opt-out on some, for example, application/json, images/* or even video/* so all files within those mime types are not cached.

Hi there.

In the HTTPCache section of the WinGate Management Console is a "Rules" panel. In that panel you can enter rules to control your caching base on various criteria, one of which is content type. You can have some rules cache the content types and some rules not cache, so you should be able to set up the caching how you desire.
