Puresight GUI failed to load.

Postby Mr Aimin » Jul 13 15 9:39 pm

Hai Wingate Expert.
Have a nice day.
I have 1 question, I installed PureSight8.3.2.4773 in our Wingate server.
Before this I already installed WinGate8.2.5.4733 services and successfully running.
Our Wingate server using Window Server 2012 R2 64 bit.
May I know how to solve it and below the error screenshot:

Hi

that version of PureSight needs WinGate 8.3.4, you should update your WinGate version (can just install over the top).

Hi

you can access our old downloads from http://cloud-dl.qbik.com/archive/

But I wonder why you don't want to update? We fixed a lot of bugs since 8.2.5, and you can use your existing license and just install over the top.

Hi

no, it will keep all your settings, you can just install over the top.

If you want to make certain, you can take a backup first using the WinGate Configuration utility (in the WinGate\Utilities folder)

Hii Adrien,

Can you share with me the steps for backup using the WinGate Configuration utility (in the WinGate\Utilities folder)?

Hi

there should be a WinGateConfigurationReadme.txt file in there as well which tells you how to use it.

It is a GUI app, so you can just run it.
