Activity / NAT:TCP Connection

Postby damien » Dec 07 15 9:30 am

Hi

In the client activity panel, i can see many many many (All...) "NAT:TCP Connection to IP:Port"

Is there a way to hide all NAT activities ?
There is so many lines that it has just become unusable.
Few days ago, none of these lines were present. What did I change?

Thank for answer

HI

what's the port number typically being connected to? If 80 / 443 that's http/https (web browsing). THat would mean that clients aren't configured to use a proxy and the WWW proxy isn't intercepting the connections.

Other ports can be indicative of problems (e.g. p2p software etc).

They are many 443, no 80 (seem to be intercepted) and many others (TCP & UDP).

I guess that most of them are probably used by voice ip softwares (skypes/teamspeak..) but i don't understand why NAT traffic is sudendly displayed here.
I was almost certain that nothing was recently displayed.
I think i changed some rules in extended networking panel. Can it explain that?

HI

yes, if you enabled NAT - but that's enabled by default.

Usually we recommend setting web browsers to use a proxy, that gives you more flexibility on what you do to the traffic.
