Upstream SMB?

Postby Talicada » Jun 15 16 6:53 pm

So I am currently playing around with my network.

Layout is attached below.

Is there a way to make SMB, 192.168.1.*, available to those in 192.168.2.* ?

I attempted to use TCP and UDP Mapping service, but I couldn't get a handle of it and it didn't work as I expected.

If it is TCP and UDP mapping, can a more thorough explanation of how it works be given?

Thanks,
Talicada

Hi,

Did you install the WinGate Network driver when you installed WinGate? Check in Extended Networking in the WinGate console, it should say installed and active.

Can you check that the WinGate Network driver is listed in the Windows adapter properties If it's not there, click Install::Service and select the WinGate Network driver, then reboot.

Regards,

Matt

It is there for the WiFi and the Ethernet.
