Wingate Location

Oct 15 16 4:17 am

Hi Everyone,
I'm having difficulty setting up my wingate. I've got a pretty straight forward network. All clients point to 10.1.10.201 as the default gateway and that router points to 10.1.10.1 which is my asa5505 device. My 5505 connects directly to our T-1.
I've placed the windows 2012R2 wingate server between 10.1.10.201 and 10.1.10.1. Then internal nic I've got set to 10.1.10.3, 255.255.0.0, 10.1.10.5 and the external I've set at 10.1.10.5, 255.255.0.0, 10.1.10.1. The setup is not working, am I way off?

Any help is appreciated.

I'm trying to figure out how much bandwidth we are using in a given month to see if going to satellite is an option for our company. I do have an exchange email server in the network.Image

Thanks,
Damian

try remove 10.1.10.5 as gateway at internal nic, then test...

Just an FYI, we worked on this in the support desk, and asked to change the IP addressing so that the external NIC uses a different subnet to the internal NIC.

Dear Matt,
I have an issue with the implementation of Wingate behind the ASA firewall.
The customer has rules implemented on the firewall which require to operate with every single user IP address. As per the proxy, the NAT is used at proxy, I would like to know if there is another way to set it up.

Esperant
