Replying HTTP/1.0 Connect Requests with HTTP/1.0

Postby fredwalter » Apr 14 17 6:52 pm

Hi,

I am using Wingate 9.0.5 build 5926 on Windows 7.
I have configured it as a Proxy with NTLM authentication

I am trying to cause Wingate to reply with HTTP/1.0 when it is receiving HTTP/1.0 Connect Requests. But Wingate is answering with HTTP/1.1 instead.
Is there a way to configure the HTTP version?

See For example below:
Received Packed:
CONNECT google.co.jp:443 HTTP/1.0
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko
Content-Length: 0
Host: google.co.jp
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
Pragma: no-cache

Replied packet
HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy authorization required
Proxy-Authenticate: NTLM
Proxy-Support: session-based-authentication
Cache-control: no-store, no-cache
Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
Content-Length: 855
Date: Fri, 14 Apr 2017 07:14:00 GMT
Server: WinGate Engine
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive

Thanks in advance,

Fred W.

Hi

usually servers and proxies reply with the version they support, rather than the version of the request.

Is there any particular reason you want the response to CONNECT to be HTTP/1.0?
