Wingate Setup ON Virtualized Environment with Multiple NIC's

Postby gops » Apr 03 18 5:54 am

Dear All,
We have a Virtual Environment with Windows 2008 R2 and VM with Windows 2012 R2.
Host is having two NIC's .One Internal and one External..Internal in 172.23.X.X and External in 192.168.X.X
On VM we have two External Virtual NIC's 1 & 2 are in the range 192.168.X.X and one internal 172.23.X.X
Created Separate Proxy service using the external NIC’s as below for BU 1 which will be bind to external 1 & BU 2 which will be bind to external 2
Once connected through Internal Link ,traffic to internet goes through external leg and for BU1 it will go through First External Virtual NIC and for BU 2 the internet traffic will go through Second External Virtual NIC .We shall gain this by creating access rule for BU 1 clients , so that clients from BU 1 which is having a specific range of IP will go through External Virtual NIC Interface 1 and same way as for BU 2.
Created Multiple Proxy services in Wingate ..for BU 1 we named as BU 1 and on that service we bind the external link 1 and internal link and for BU 2 we named as BU 2 and for that service ,we bind the external link 2 and internal link.
Would like to confirm the above way we can route the traffic to Internet for Different BU's through Different nIC's.Please advise....or any other better way of doing the above.
Also the above can be done by OU level or User Level ??

Thanks & Regards
Gops
