Allow Content type download through reverse proxy

Oct 12 18 7:30 pm

Hi,

I have setup a http reverse proxy, and I am able to access the site/api through it.
However, as part of the process to send commands through the api, I need to do a get version.
This in turn will download an xml file to the client.

I am getting the following error when trying to do this:
"You do not have permission to download content of type <b>application/xml, charset=utf-8"

How do I allow this?
Sorry, I am a newbie to Wingate. In fact I am still in the evaluation stages, so need to know how to get this working.

Thank you.

HI

is it actually WinGate blocking this? I'd suggest checking you don't have any of the sample policies in effect.

Hi,

This was being blocked by the Wingate server.
Against the www proxy service, I went to the Web Server tab, and selected the Settings bottom.
In here I added the file associations that I needed, and this resolved the issue.

Thanks.
