Good morning,
Can Wingate allow browsing only to sites in a whitelist and block all others?
Does it also work with https sites?
Waiting for your reply
Thank you

Hi

yes, WinGate supports a whitelist mode.

Yes it works with https sites, however note that unless you are using SSL inspection in the WWW proxy, WinGate doesn't see the full URL of requests, only the server/site name, and block-pages aren't shown by browsers (they consider non 200 responses to CONNECT to be untrustworthy).

Hi

in web access rules,

top rule to allow sites you want to allow
default rule set to deny.

For SSL configuration, it's a checkbox in the SSL inspection tab in the WWW proxy. There's a section in the help file (click on that tab then hit F1) which explains how to set it up, you need to have a signing certificate, and that needs to be deployed to client computers.
