Support FTP filter

Do I understand correctly that by default an HTTP filter is used to filter FTP traffic?

http filter is used to filter anything going via the http proxy.

http clients use http proxies to do ftp, but ftp clients don't usually. So you can get ftp coming via the http proxy, or via some other mechanism (usually NAT unless the client is configuring ftp clients to use ftp proxies).
