The cost of a Wingate SDK license is $0. Why is it required to submit credit card details to obtain something which is free?

I'll check, but it's probably just part of the order process which was built before we had a free license. Your card shouldn't be charged. You could try a standard test card number if you don't want to use a real one, or provide incorrect details for CVV or expiry. That way you wouldn't have to worry about unauthorised use of your card.
