Log files not sorting

Mar 14 21 7:04 pm

I've had to re-install Wingate due to the server crashing after I entered Balancing. Now:

1. Ehanced networking is not installed.

2. Log type usage is no longer in alphabetical order!

3. Can not connect android tablet and mobile. Getting "Socket exception in CDNSService::OnRead Connection Reset by Remote Host " in log. This has happened since re-installing.

Re: Log files not sorting - update

1. Found instructions on here - now installed.

2. Clicked on "Log Name" at top - now sorting.

3. DHCP service not started. Click start but not started after reboot. Had to set this to automatic start.

4. How do we get wingate NAT to show logs? This is empty.

Thanks,

Hi

normally NAT logging uses W3C format logging which is a pro feature. What license do you have?

It sounds like some settings were lost or something when the machine crashed? It's the same machine?

Sorry you've had these problems.

Thanks Adrien,

It is physically the same computer. Wingate was uninstalled. Then re-installed. I am using pro version with 12 user license. ID: 533711. I am getting entries in the NAT log. But these are only errors. Log source is set to Usage, Info.

I found the following line in Global.log:
72503 19/03/2021 15:10:00.579 192.168.11.70 Jason WinGate NAT 10136 39726 info 3 Request: NAT: TCP Connection to LAPTOP-TOSHIBA:5900
Is it possible for this to be picked up in Wingate Management - Logging - Winproxy NAT?

Hi

WinGate NAT is a log source so you can specify where it logs to. By default the diagnostic logs log to the global / engine log file.
