Backup users and groups, credential rules

Hi,

Can I backup all users n groups database using -> Wingate Advanced Option -> select Registry -> Export Settings

When I merge the export's registry will it :
-restore all my users & groups
-restore all my credential rules

Hi

Which version of WinGate are you using?

There is a WinGate configuration management tool for backing up WinGate config.

You can back up the registry, but be aware that merging a .reg file into your registry only replaces things with the same names, otherwise you get a combination of what is there, and what you import.

p.s. if you're using the WinGate user database, then yes the registry contains the passwords.
