remote connection dropping off

When I connect via WAN port (192.168.178.10) the connection starts and then starts to display the activity screen but then displays "Connection with Wingate server terminated.". Why is this?

Also, I've installed Wingate and disabled the Wingate Server service on the configuration client computer. Is there a better way to install just the configuration client?

Hi

By configuration client do you mean the management console? Because there's another utility that ships with WinGate called the configuration utility.

You can install the management console by just running the WinGate installer, and unselecting the engine and network driver components.

To get the configuration utility, it's a self-contained app, so you can just copy it around from the Utilities folder on another WinGate install.
