Wingate and EMS error

The Wingate Gateway keeps crashing.

Error "EMS Memory limit exceeded."

Reboot fixes. Have downloaded the latest qbibhk2k.sys driver which may be a bit better but not noticably..

OS Windows 2000
Cable Modem connection
Single Network I/F to hub / modem.

I take you mean that this comes up as a syslog message?!

You can increase the amount of memory the ENS has available to it by adding ' BufAllocThreshold ' as a DWORD to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\QbikHk2K\Parameters

the value expected is in bytes, so a good starting point to try could be 4megs (4194304). You can then go upwards from there and see if this helps.
