Version 6.1.4 updated from older version.

Using www-proxy port 80, NAT disabled on client. IE has the correct proxy settings. Using IE and AD-username to Authenticate
Dell Server 2 Internal nics, DHCP disabled on wingate.

I get page can not be found, IE is loading 10-100% of the page, i hit F4 and after a while i get the correct page. Opening this thread i had to hit F4 3 times.

I think its related to wingate somehow, which settings should i start with?

Hi,

Wonder if it could be adapter usage as in this post here?

Or a DNS error, where are the clients sourcing lookups, is the fault the same on the server machine when surfing directly and via the localhost 127.0.0.1:80?

Hi

Do both your internal NICs have a default gateway set?

If so, that could be causing the problem. Windows has trouble with more than one default gateway setting. It's not necessary to assign one for each adapter in your system, only the one that you access the Internet through.

I have set the adapter usage correct.

I have the same problem when surfing on the wingate machine with localhost proxy, i think its working better when surfing without proxy. i will check this out.

I'm aware of that problem, on my internal nic i have no gateway. My external nic is set up by my ISP (dhcp).

I am also expering problem downloadning files, the download is finished in one second and the file is corrupt.

I dont think its related to the hardware, last night i worked from home via Remote Desktop & Gatekeeper. I have a portforward to my server and under 3 hours i had no problem with RD. So it have to be something under the www-proxy settings that is corrupt. I hade disabled AV and sometimes i get a Kaspersky error on startup, could it be related to AV?

Hi

do you get any firewall hits in GateKeeper? Like checksum error packets?

Sounds like something is dropping packets or something.

You could try turning any plugins off to see if that helps narrow down the cause.

What i can see i dont have any plugins enabled, firewall hits? o yes a lot of them.. The problem is that is working fine right now, but when the problem comes back i will look at the firewall.

And i think if the problem is coming back that will do a fresh install, i think that is a faster way to solve the problem.
