Wingate 4.4.0 - problem with dialers and gw

Postby kiludg » Dec 04 03 1:51 am

Hi

Our company use Wingate 4.4.0 but We have to change operating system, so we must once again install Wingate aplication.
And this is a problem. Because after instalation, wingate display this messages.

there are no enabled dialer profiles and no default gateway configured
... bla bla bla (any host connected to wingate server couldn't have internet)

We use WINXP, and connection to internet is made by dial-up modem (ISDN). During instalation HIS is enabled nad connected to internet (maybe thist is the reason of problems ??? ).
Network on wingate server work correctly (we have conection to internet all the time), HIS interface is visible in wingate aplication, but as i said he display that strange (for me) messages.

If anyone have some ideas how to fix it or what can be the reason of problems i would very gratefull for any answer and suggestion.

Hi

This will happen if you haven't configured WinGate to dial on demand, and you haven't set up the dialer profiles in WinGate itself.
