We're running Wingate 5.2 on a Win 2000 server. One of our staff is connecting to an energy management control panel from off property through the Wingate.
The program uses UDP to send panel infomation, so in Extended Networking under Port Security I created a UDP Connection from the Interent to redirect all packets coming from port 21068 to redirect packets to IP address 192.168.1.2
This works fine, untill a request is larger than approx. 1400 bytes. We assume this is the point at which packet gets fragmented? or the info is in more than one packet?
It works fine on a local network, so for some reason Wingate is not relaying all the packets. The supplier says it works fine for other clients through Internet router hubs, and has no answer for us. The same problem occurs even when routing the packet locally, so we know Wingate is stopping something from happening.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Let me know if clarification is needed on any point.
Thanks for taking the time to help!
