Multiple Mail

Hi

I am running wingate 6.2 but this has been happening since version 5.

If a large email is waiting in a users POP3 folder and they are running a lower bandwidth network connection ie less than 10mg they will receive that email repeated times until I delete it off the system.

Is this a known issue

hi Tim

there was a known issue with OUtlook and some emails that blocked outlook from retrieving.

the symptom was that any mail in the mailbox that would be retrieved BEFORE the one that blocked the account would get retrieved over and over, since the session couldn't complete, and these emails couldn't be deleted.

So normally it's a symptom of some other mail there is an issue with. What email client are you using?

Also, is this retrieving from WinGate itself, or through WinGate off some POP3 server on the Internet?
