Customize HTTP Error on a BAN LIST!

Postby Tiziano » Dec 12 03 3:28 am

Sorry for my English.

I have configured BAN LIST for some HTTP site in WWW Service. When, in my browser, I try to access to a BAN site, I receive GENERAL page with http access denied error. Is possible customize http error page with a PARTICULAR COMPANY MESSAGE ?

Thank !

Tiziano.

Tiziano,

I have done this with some success. Check this thread out - http://forums.qbik.com/viewtopic.php?t=439&highlight= This should get you on your way. You may not have to create a new page but just put in message you want to be displayed. BTW your English is fine.

not sure. The only centralised way to administer web browsers that I know of is with a proxy PAC file, auto config file. I know this can do proxy configuration, and WinGate will support one, but I don't know if it will do more advanced IE configurations. Anyone else out there know?
