Downloads Slowdown machine and net in clients...

Why, i have wingate server installed in one machine under 2003server, and have 2 network cards, with the same dns, and gateway, and when some client is downloading files, the machine(Server) slowdown, and as the machine slowdown, the internet for clients "sucks", so can anyone help-me????

i've checked the routing table for network cards that 2003server have, but its turned off...

Hi,

Can you check and make sure that you don't have a DNS loop? You'll see this as hundreds of DNS requests whenever a DNS lookup is made.

If you do then you'll need to check your DNS settings. If you're running an Active Directory DNS server you need to add the IP address for this server to the list of DNS servers in the WinGate Advanced Options applet (Start--WinGate--Advanced Options--DNS servers) to stop WinGate from forwarding DNS requests back to the AD DNS server.
