What kinds of traffic is still possible through the WinGate Server at that stage ? Can you still resolve DNS requests ? Can you still ping the server OR anything beyond it ?
Then, what method of connection are the clients using - NAT / Proxy / T/R / WGIC ? Are you running any data scanning plugins at the Client Site ? (Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate OR PureSight for WinGate)
And the last question, what is the resource usage like on the Server at the time when it becomes unresponsive ? (High memory usage / excessive use of handles / etc.)
