Load Balance Multiple Cellular Dialup Connections

Postby mmatos » Mar 01 07 1:06 pm

Hello,

I went over the features and documentation but I'm not 100% sure that Wingate supports the following:

I will be setting up a PC with multiple (read: 2 or more) Verizon Wireless data cards. The connection to the EVDO network looks like a regular dialup connection to windows.

1.) I need to know that Wingate supports load balancing across multiple dialup connections.

2.) I figure I will initially set it up with 2, and as capacity needs increase, I may drop another VZW connection in. When/if I add the 3rd (or additional) connections, how dificult is it to have Wingate use it?

Thanks in advance.

I find it surprising that noone at QBik wants to respond to this post, seeing as a lack of response could mean losing out on a customer.

I'll wait a couple more days to see if there's a response - so far QBik has been the least responsive of the solutions I'm looking at.

When I look at your question, I don't know if you are enquiring about a normal scenario of WinGate using two internet connections or if your question is specific to the "Network Load Balancing" option that can be found within a network cards properties on Windows Servers.

If you are not talking about "Network Load Balancing", then review this post that was made by a Qbik staff member.
