Help! UAE blocking AOL. Wingate workaround possible?

Postby KT » Jan 31 04 3:34 am

My uncle recently moved to the UAE for work and the government over there blocks AOL connections through TCP/IP. He wants me to help him work around it, is this possible? I have a static IP and enough bandwidth here in Florida, and I could set up a WinGate server for him to connect to with a client. I didn't buy WinGate yet, so I can't look at the features I just wanted to make sure that this could work.

I really hate countries that do stupid shit like this.

Thanks,
KT

no need to make a server outside UAE
all you need is to use https proxy and it'll help you
without any additional software

try this ip as http proxy
