Zonealarm and Wingate VPN doesn't work?

Hi,

here in the Forum I have read the topic "Zonealarm causes Wingate headache", and the author wrote, that he needed to uninstall Zonealarm, to make Wingate VPN work.

I was able to connect 2 Windows 2000 computers with Wingate VPN, although Zonealarm was installed on both computers (maybe I shuttet Zonealarm temporarily down, I don't remember that any more).

But since I want to connect from a Windows XP client to a Windows 2000 server, I can not browse. When I am shutting down the Zonealarm, this does not help either - and I don't want to uninstall Zonealarm. I want to use it - together with Wingate VPN.

Is there anybody who can join from a Windows XP to a Windows 2000 Host - with Zonealarm installed?

If yes - please let me know, what modifications exactly I need to do in Zonealarm?

It will depend which version of Zonealarm you have, the free one is restricted in how much you can configure it.
