Can somebody please give us some clues on this one?

Kk,
Have a user who is trying to connect to my working VPNs'. All the usual set up done unique username and password for his network.

Here are the VPN logs for each that are pertinent

03/14/04 17:10:47 VPN Connection: 'Local network of KATE' has joined 'babybird'
03/14/04 17:10:47 VPN Tunnels: Tunnel to node Local network of KATE (81.x.x.x:809) with ID 4 active and
03/14/04 17:31:50 VPN Disconnection: VPN Server Connection (babybird) closing because remote side closed the connection
03/14/04 17:31:50 VPN Disconnection: 'Local network of KATE' has disconnected from 'babybird'
(real ip x'ed out)

on one machine and

03/14/04 06:25:59 VPN Connection: 'Local network of KATE' has joined 'Xeon'
03/14/04 06:27:23 VPN Tunnels: Tunnel to node Local network of BABYBIRD (213.x.x.x:809) with ID 48 active and updated
03/14/04 06:27:23 VPN Connection: 'Local network of BABYBIRD' has joined 'Xeon'
03/14/04 06:27:55 VPN Disconnection: VPN Server Connection (Xeon) closing because remote side closed the connection
03/14/04 06:27:55 VPN Disconnection: 'Local network of KATE' has disconnected from 'Xeon'
03/14/04 06:29:19 VPN Error: Connection from '0.0.0.0' failed. Pre negotiation of acception failed
03/14/04 06:30:16 VPN Error: Connection from '0.0.0.0' failed. Pre negotiation of acception failed
03/14/04 06:31:16 VPN Error: Connection from '0.0.0.0' failed. Pre negotiation of acception failed
03/14/04 06:32:16 VPN Error: Connection from '0.0.0.0' failed. Pre negotiation of acception failed

The disturbing part is that both machines bluescreened after failed connections.

Also I noticed when he connects as well as his local ip showing in published routes his WAN ip appears also

Any clues on this one, ALSO can someone tell me if anything has been done about the "FATAL APPLICATION EXIT" Problem discussed here

Also on my vpn I have Babybird connected to Xeon, the tunnell shows as "in stasis" but the VPN is working perfectly. Whats that about.

HELLO?

Thought this would have been quite a quick reply due to the severity of the VPN reaction. Does anyone else have this one or has anyone else found an answer?

BTW

All machines involved have gone to the windows nic driver. No Change.
