Remote Computer (VPN Server) "not accessible"

May 08 04 10:59 am

I installed the VPN Server on a Windows Small Business Server 2003. Since I only have 1 network card, and the Windows based VPN setup is too much for me, I decided to try the Win Gate VPN out. Installation of the Server and a client (on an XP machine) went well. Also establishing a connection between both LANS is possible. My problem now:
Checking out the remote environment causes, that remote computers are shown as "not accessible". I have no idea what the reason ist. Ressources are set to be shared an can be shared by other computers in the LAN. Can anybody help please? I checked out several articles about comparable problems, but the resolving links mostly don't work....

Thank you & best regards!

UDP Port 809 was not open...

OK, I fixed the problem 50% now..
The access is granted now. Althought I would like to know, where in the regular Nework Neighbourhood, I can find the new ressources. This is important for client-server applications...

Thanxx & brgds
