upgrading to new version and licensing question

i am new so hello all, i have a registration proplem, so not sure how to handle it, on version 1.2.3.build 901 i purchased a six user license, to set up a chain of stores to access quickbooks master in the host server. i got 3 connected and working fine, and loaded one in my laptop to be able to vpn to the server from anywhere, it works great, i used 5 users for this. one for the server that has no lan on its side. and 3 from the stores, one unit each and no lans on there side, and of course my laptop. i loaded the new version 2 and it nailed me all six for the laptop and the rest have to be on my laptops lan which there are none, so i finally got all restored back to the 1.2.3 version, i notified support and they sent me here soooo help.

The six user license you are referring to, is that a "WinGate VPN gateway license for 6 user LAN" ?

If so, that licenses your LAN for 6 users participating in that VPN node. You still need to purchase a license for each node on the VPN (Which would be single-user if there are no other machines participating)

The number of users refers to the number of machines at that point, not the number of connections to the VPN.
