I curently have 1 server and 17 other computers connected to a windows network curently accessing files from the server. We also have a Microsoft Exchange email server.

We curently use Go To My PC to access our computers remotely.

With WinGate VPN what would i purchase just for my server and exchange email to be accessed remotely?

Thanks
Jordan

Hi Jordan,

Each installation of WinGate must have its own license. To create a VPN you need at least two VPN nodes, so you'll need at least two licenses.

On the host server you'll need a Gateway license to make machines behind the VPN server accessible to the server. The number of users on the license depends on the number of machines behind the VPN server that need to be visible to the VPN. In your case it sounds like a 3 user gateway license would be fine.

How many remote machines do you have? Remember that each installation of WinGate must have its own license, but if you have more than one machine at a location then you'd need a gateway license.
