Schedule VPN COnnection

Good day,

Is there a way to schedule the client PC to connect to the VPN, pass the user ID and password?

I am considering a batch file with commands to connect to the VPN server, login, map network drives then copy files from either location to the other location.

Is this possible with WingateVPN? If the answer is yes, how could I do this?

If this is possible to accomplish, then I'll plan to recommend Wingate to my clients to use.

Hi,

You can set up a scheduler event to connect a VPN. So as long as the VPN is correctly configured then just set the time to connect and you should be fine.

You'll find this in the scheduler, add a new event and scroll down til you find Connect a VPN. Select the VPN that you want to connect and enter the time to connect. That should be all that you need to do.
