Yes I have read the article and RIP2 listener is enabled on the main gateway and the router on the client side

we have one PC running XP Home sp1 which is working fine. They both have the same build of Wingate VPN (2.0.3)

All was fine until I uploaded the latest sp's on the XP Pro sp2 machine and now this won't work.

Have you any other ideas?

Thanks

Rob

Hi

Can you try tracert across the vpn from the client side, and see where the packets stop coming back

e.g. on a client machine go to the command prompt, and type

tracert someip -d

where someip is an IP address on the other network of the VPN.

XP SP2 enables its firewall by default, and it is possible there may be a combination of ICMP redirects and SP2 firewall blocking going on that didn't use to happen before the patches were applied.
