Forum for all technical support and trouble shooting of the WinGate VPN.

Hi,
I am new to Wingate VPN (but we have been using WG Proxy for almost 3yrs now) and I wanted to know if its possible to have a LAN-to-LAN VPN using Wingate.
The other side uses a CheckPoint Firewall.
Is this possible or do we need another WinGate VPN on the other side.
Our aim is to allow some/all users from our LAN access to some/all resources of our Branch office.
Regards,
Jian

1. What versions of WinGate are in each location?
2. In each location do the client computers have their gateways set to the WinGate server?
For a LAN to LAN VPN connection, you will need either:
(LAN - LAN)
WinGate - WinGate
WinGate - Wingate VPN Only
WinGate VPN Only - WinGate VPN Only.
Terminology
WinGate VPN Host - In simple terms: The side that does the Authentication and keeps track of the connections / routes
WinGate VPN Joiner - The side that connects to the Host
WinGate VPN Participant - Computers on either side that need to participate in the VPN, but does not run the WinGate software.
Considerations
Port Mapping
WinGate VPN will need TCP / UDP Port 809 open on the VPN Host side
Subnets:
If the WinGate VPN Hosts LAN is on the subnet 192.168.0.x / 255.255.255.0
Then the WinGate VPN Joiners LAN will need to be on a different subnet like 192.168.1.x / 255.255.255.0
