Question about AD and WinGateVPN.

Hi all,

A customer wants to do this scenario:
All clients machine will make your requests to an Active Directory > AD connects to WinGate VPN and shows to client machine the remote folder requested.

Is it possible to do?

Unfortunately WinGate VPN connections are not instigated by network traffic. So you would not be able to establish the VPN connection by browsing to a location known to be on the other end of a VPN.

You would need to have the VPN connection established (Either on system start or by user action).

But otherwise I don't see any problems with this. WinGate VPN is available on a 30 day trial and we give full support so that gives you the opportunity to see if it suits your needs.
