Wingate 4.0 and VPN

I currently have a Wingate version 4.0 setup on a home network. Can this be used or upgraded to act as a VPN server?

If I then transferred to a wireless router, but kept the Wingate server working, would this still work?

Hi,

You can upgrade to version 6 and run your version 4.x license. This will give you access to the features that you had in version 4 but will allow you to run the latest engine and driver.

Running the VPN is a license issue, you'll need to purchase a valid VPN license. You can test it by requesting a VPN trial license from within the license manager of version 6.

Where are you going to put the wireless router, is this going to be on your LAN? There shouldn't be any problems with that.
