I have a broadband connection and windows 2003 server (MASTER). On the other end I am using a laptop with XP Pro (CLIENT). My IP address is set via DHCP. I installed the trial version of Wingate 2.0 on both machines. Both machines connect to eachother with no problems. However, after I specify a directory as shared on the MASTER, it does not show up in the LOCAL NETWORK section at all and the client cannot see it either. All I can see is Microsoft Windows Network. I set the MASTER with LOCAL MACHINE ONLY option and CLIENT as LOCAL NETWORK or LOCAL MACHINE with the same results. Any ideas. I really want to get this working, but a fell at the first hurdle!!!!
