Why the VPN 2.X can't connect to VPN 1.2.3 ?

There are 2 VPN Servers , the vision of the one is 2.x, the other is 1.2.3 .Now,I created a host VPN in visions 2.x , then I created a join VPN in vision 1.2.3 ,but visio can't connect to 2.x ?why ?

Version 2 can connect to version 1.2.3 and earlier, but version 1.2.3 cannot connect to version 2. This is because of the changes required for NTLM authentication on the server (Hosting) end.

However, if you have a version 1.2.3 license key you can use version 2 on that end too, with your existing license key. All you need to do is run through the activation process and update the key to the version 2 format.
