cant open folders

cant open folders

Dear Wingate VPN User

Following problem with the VPN.
I can connect to the Remote Server, i see the network but no access to the folders (rights are set corecct)
What is wrong?

Can you ping VPN server from the VPN joiner?

Dear genie

yes i can ping the vpn-server. (local ip-adr. 10.10.10.10).
can it be, that the folder its to large (202 objects)?
i made today a test whit a small folder (3files) and i can open and see all files.

No, I doubt it - most probably it's an MTU issue - try reducing MTU on both sides first.

directly in the WingateVPN prgramm under network connection / properties?

Well, there is an MTU configuration setting in Wingate but it does not cover all possible cases - however, since it is easier to change MTU in Wingate, it's a good place to start - try lowering it gradually down to, say, 800 - if you still experience difficulties with connection, restore the Wingate settings and change the system MTU.
