Restart contolled server on VPN

I've installed a VPN gateway and is working fine.

From home I use Terminal Client to connect to a remote W2K Server in my office. All work fine also here.

Problem: when I restart my office server from home also Wingate gateway restarts. It seems it gets restart command too. Can it be?

My config is the following:
Home box has W2KPro using dynamic public IP over an ADSL
Wingate box has WXPPro with 2 NIC one public, one on the office lan
Office server has W2KServer on the office lan running Terminal Server

We have tried (and recently retried this same scenario) here in the lab
and are unable to reproduce this behavior.

As you mentioned I can see no way how this can happen (shocked as you were :)) as the Terminal Services client is logging onto a machine completely seperate from the WinGate VPN server.

I would suggest a recheck of your configuration.
