What other boot time (non system) services do you have starting? AV etc? Also if you stop the WinGate Engine and in the registry add two values to:
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Qbik Software\WinGate\Settings
these are:
UseDeadLockDetection – REG_DWORD – Set to 1 to turn on
CheckLockPrecedence – REG_DWORD – Set to 1 to turn on
The next time your engine locks up it should create a file (or two) in your WinGate dir called LockAnalyserDumpFileEng.txt. If you could post the end of that file it might give us an indication of where things are going wrong.
NOTE: As per usual, you modify the registry at your own risk, and should always make backups before any editting takes place.
