VPN ERRORS

Just upgraded from 5.0.7 to 5.2.3 on clients Win2K Server box and now internet runs like a dog and when we try to conect to VPN from clients, we get "There was no response to the username+password authentication from the server"..?

Any ideas.. this has run with no problems on 5.0.7 for months and nothing in our setuyp has changed apart form the wingate upgrade.

Hi Mark,

What kind of network cards are you using? We made a change to the driver after version 5.0.7 so there could be a problem there.

How are your clients connecting to the WinGate server? When you say the internet runs like a dog, is that for all internet connections all the time? What about from the WinGate server? What kind of VPN are you running?

Thanks for answering, but I have removed wingate off this PC and did a fresh install on another PC as I did not have time to figure this out. I reverted back to v 5.2.2 and everything on the new PC is working fine.
