Yahoo Messenger Cookie Error

Clients on the network behind WingateProxyServer, recieved a yahoo messenger invalid cookie error.
How to fix this issue?, or how to enable yahoo messenger on wingateProxyServer.

Yahoo messenger should work fine with WinGate.
As an alternative from what you have tried, you can configure messenger to use a proxy server( the WinGate server) from within Yahoo messenger itself. You of course will have consult messenger help on how to configure this to work behind a Proxy/Firewall scenario. I think from memory its a relatively simple setting.
