accessing files impossible

Installed Wingate VPN on a server computer and as a client on my computer. With Wingate I cannot access the files in the directory on the server computer, although I can see the directory of those files.
I do know that I have asked it earlier, however I cannot find it back in this forum. Please, can you guys give me the solution again?
I can access the server, I cannot access the files in the shard directory on the server.
