1. Please confirm the Windows Firewall and ICS is disabled for the sake of testing if you deem it safe. It is best disabled then stopped in the Windows Services.
(Windows) Start menu --> Run --> services.msc
2. If this is an Active Directory can you can review the difference between Server 2's DNS setup and Server 1's DNS setup?
3. Are folders shared on the Server 1’s network?
4. Do you have any other third party security suites installed on these computer that cannot be accessed? Have you tried disabling them?
5. Does turning off Simple File Sharing help?
