Can't connect to VPN

I am trying to set up a small VPN. 1 Server, 1 PC, 1 remote client.
The Server is connected to the internet through a QWest/Actiontec DSL modem/router. I do not have a static IP. I am using no-ip and my address is process-arch.no-ip.biz. I have it configure to forward ports 809, but it does not appear to be working. The router firewall is turned off and there is no other firewall installed on the server. RIP is turned off on the modem. I turned it on and lost my connection to the internet. Any suggestions?

Make sure you have UDP port 809 forwarded ON as well.
