NAT and Networking

Postby waldo » Oct 20 03 12:09 pm

Hello,
I am trying to use Wingate Server 5.0.10 with WingateVPN 1.0.10.
I am establishing the connection Ok but the Published route for the server is showing as Behind NAT/translated. How do I access the server from the client and is Remote Desktop a satisfactory way of doing this.. or would anyone have any other suggestions they think would be more suited.
PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks
Dave

So do you mean that the server is not behind a NAT? How does it connect to the Internet?

Also, what do you need to do on the server from the client - I would think that remote desktop would be quite bandwidth-hungry.
