HELP please, I am going Crazy!

Postby american333 » Nov 21 07 2:28 pm

Dear guys:
I am posting here, as a result of 3 days trying my best to get up and running with the VPN , and however, i can connect, all machines are not accesibles.
The scenario is like this:
I have a lan at office with 6 computers on range 192.168.0.x
one server for our erp aplication, which is also the domain controler, and where i install the vpn server. This server have 192.168.0.100
Then i have a router from my ISP where i configure and open 809 ports on tcp /udp to 192.168.0.100
On a remote location, i install the vpn, and import the file of the hosted vpn.
On the remote location, only one computer, connected to a router from my isp.Default gateway 192.168.1.50, and machine IP 192.168.0.179

When i run the join to VPN, it goes trough, but however, i can not enter on any machine of the lan, as it appears as not accesibles.

I can make a ping from remote location to 192.168.0.100, and give me a diferent IP on the ping results , other than 0.100.

I install the Ripclient on the client side.
Machines are:Server is win2000server, and remote is Xp pro.

Any ideas???
Much apreciated!!

Warm regards from Barcelona

Can you change the client's machine IP from 0.179 to, say, 1.179?

I am sorry for the confusion.
Client machine is alrerady 192.168.1.179 .
I guess is something on the routing but really can not resolve myself, and i do read all entire forum, and whitepapers,instructions,etc..
Also i am thinking that maybe the client must join the domain in order to gain access to the network shares, but the client machine dont find the domain.
Any help will really much apreciated.
Warm regards

Hi Genie:
Thanks very much for your prompt reply.
No, I cant access.
The vpn connect and create the tunnel, but all machines are not accessibles.
I have Pcanywhere on both ends, if you could help me with.
Warm regards

Can you sent to my email address the IP addresses of your server and the joiner. I will also need access to your VPN config - so I need this and would appreciate if you create a user for me, too, on both sides.
